Round Rock ISD Adopts Cloud-Based Tool To Host Board Documents

The Round Rock Independent School District has adopted a new Web-based tool to host meeting documents and improve access to important information.

The district has chosen BoardDocs, which "uses a structured, collaborative workflow that is specifically designed to meet the unique needs and legal requirements of public school boards, county commissions, municipal governments and a wide variety of other types of governing bodies," according to a news release.

BoardDocs also features a "MetaSearch" tool designed to allow board members to view best practices and initiatives from other organizations using the resource.

"BoardDocs is the latest innovative tool RRISD is using to connect with our stakeholders," said Steve Flores, superintendent of schools, in a prepared statement. "BoardDocs will let us not only streamline our information, but push our district toward becoming the destination district for public schools."
