Edgenuity Adds Star Assessment Integration for MyPath

Edgenuity and Renaissance Learning have partnered to integrate the latter's Star Assessments with Edgenuity MyPath.

Designed to help close student achievement gaps, MyPath features instruction for students in grades 3-11. Following an exam, such as Edgenuity's own placement exam or an assessment from a third party, students are presented with customized sequences of interactive lessons, dubbed individualized learning paths (ILPs), focused on concepts they're ready to learn.

As a result of the new partnership, teachers can now import math and reading data from Star Assessments to inform the creation of ILPs.

"Edgenuity MyPath's data-driven, differentiated instruction meets students at their learning level to provide them with the individualized support to catch up or get ahead," said Sari Factor, CEO of Edgenuity, in a prepared statement. "Our partnership with Renaissance Learning provides educators who use Star Assessments with an even clearer picture of a student's strengths and weaknesses, further enhancing Edgenuity MyPath's ability to support a student's unique learning needs and ensure better academic outcomes."
