PayK12 Integrates with PowerSchool

PayK12 powered by Ticketracker has joined the PowerSchool ISV Partner Badging System, supporting integration of PayK12 with the PowerSchool student information system.

PayK12 is a cloud-based software platform for collecting, reporting on and managing school payments and funds. The district-level system supports integration with existing school management systems and features dashboard reports with district-wide, real-time sales data and trends; an online payment parent portal; and cloud-based reporting.

This integration will enable single sign-on access to PayK12 through the PowerSchool family portal, so families can make payments without logging on to a separate PayK12 account. The integration also supports "real-time, on-demand data transfer between PowerSchool and PayK12," according to a news release.

Members of the PowerSchool ISV Partner Badging System must complete an integration verification process to become certified for any of the three ISV partner badges, which include single sign-on, data exchange and seamless user experience. PayK12 is certified for single sign-on and data exchange.

"The ISV partner program was created to maximize PowerSchool's support of teaching and learning with the use of API [application programming interface] technology, allowing districts to access all of their data from one central location," said Karin Holtz, VP of alliances and business development at PowerSchool, in a prepared statement.

Further information about PayK12 powered by Ticketracker can be found on the PayK12 site.
