Impero Offers Grant for School Safety Compliance

Impero Software is offering a new grant program to help schools comply with a sweeping school safety bill passed by the Texas legislature in May 2019. One component of the new law mandates that each school create threat assessment teams to monitor student behavior and determine the best ways to intervene.

Selected applicants for the company’s Texas Safety Grant will get access to Impero EdAware, the company’s digital safeguarding solution that helps schools understand the potential risks of a student or incident through recording and monitoring school behavior information.

Interested schools are encouraged to apply for the grant through a form on Impero’s website by Sept. 15. Impero will distribute a one-year trial license of Impero EdAware to up to 100 schools that are selected..
