Kajeet Adding CatchOn to Catalog; ENA Adding Kajeet

Kajeet, which produces a device delivering wireless Internet access to students who lack broadband connectivity, has expanded its selling options. The company has signed agreements with Education Networks of America (ENA) and ENA affiliate company CatchOn. ENA develops connectivity and communication systems for education settings. CatchOn provides software that analyzes program usage in schools and districts for better decision making.

ENA will begin selling two products from Kajeet: SmartSpot, a portable WiFi hotspot; and SmartBus, a school bus WiFi system. In turn, Kajeet will add CatchOn to its catalog of products.

"ENA and CatchOn share our focus on education and understand the unique challenges of providing patented managed connectivity to K-12 environments," said Greg Jones, Kajeet's chief technology officer, in a statement. "This collaboration is a perfect complement of solutions, with CatchOn providing data analytics and Kajeet ensuring students can connect to their education."
