AWS, Lincoln Learning Partner to Create 110,000-Asset Content Bank

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Lincoln Learning Solutions have announced their collaborative creation of the Lincoln Learning Content Bank, a preK–12 materials library for the coming 2023-2024 school year. The library boasts 110,000 multi-modal educational assets to help teachers create courses and individual resources for their students.

The library was designed by teachers for teachers, the companies said. The easy-to-use content bank allows teachers “the ability to quickly and simply search a huge variety of content to determine the best fit for individual students, small groups of students, or entire classrooms,” said Bob Clements, Lincoln Learning Solutions CEO.

The content bank search tool can do keyword, topic, standard, subject, grade level, modality, and other searches. Teachers can populate and preview results on the same screen, and the tool will make recommendations based on previous searches.

Features and uses include:

  • Perceptive and rapid searching and browsing;

  • Customizable, standards-aligned materials for classes, groups, or individuals;

  • Supplemental materials;

  • Streamlined access to materials for blended, hybrid, or virtual learning modalities;

  • Cross-curricular learning resources;

  • Individualized tutoring solutions;

  • Remediation and enrichment lessons and activities; and

  • Homework options.

The Lincoln Content Bank was designed to fit easily into the Canvas learning suite and will be available in the Canvas app store and in the AWS Marketplace.
