New Middle School Literacy Tool Includes AI Reading Tutor
PreK-12 literacy solution provider EPS Learning has introduced EPS Reading Accelerator, a Tier 2 reading intervention program for middle school students with gaps in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
EPS Reading Accelerator is a blended learning program designed to build foundational skills and move students toward grade-level proficiency. Its five-step, structured literacy lessons can be used in small groups or with a whole class, the company explained in a news announcement. The program includes EPS Reading Assistant, an "AI-driven reading tutor that uses voice-recognition technology to provide students with adaptive reading practice," the announcement said. Integrated dashboards provide teachers with data on student progress.

"With the addition of EPS Reading Accelerator to our comprehensive literacy suite, we take one step closer to that goal by applying our deep expertise in reading intervention to the underserved population of striving middle school readers."
