Kit Helps Reinforce Scientific Concepts

The new Scientific American Teacher's Kit makes the magazine, with its Nobel Award-winning authors, an accessible teaching aid. A User's Guide contains ideas for experiments and activities that improve reading skills, reference special sections of the magazine and apply multimedia resources. In addition, students or teachers may access articles, chat rooms and bulletin boards through Scientific American Online (via America Online). For a limited time, a special rate for classroom subscriptions to the magazine will be exclusively available to educators. Scientific American, New York, NY, (800) 377-9414.
