Digital Art Contest Honors 2D, 3D Work

Fractal Designís fifth annual international art and design competition recognizes artwork created with Fractal products alone or in combination with other graphics packages. Entries will be judged in six categories: Fine Art 2D, Fine Art 3D, Commercial Illustration 2D, Commercial Illustration 3D, Animation, and Web Page/Interactive Game Design.

A separate category is open to students under the age of 18. The grand prize winner for the ìBeyond the Canvasî competition will receive a trip for two to Paris, Rome, Amsterdam or Prague. In addition, first, second and third place winners in each category will receive hardware and software.

All entries must be received by July 31. Winners will be chosen by an independent panel of distinguished judges from the industry. For the first time, this yearís competition welcomes both 2D and 3D artists, a result of Fractal Designís merger with Ray Dream.
