Short Takes...Informa Systems

From the e-learning software firm, Informa Systems, comes the InformaStreamservice, which enables educators to create media-rich e-learning content and distribute it online with ease. This low-cost subscription service provides all of the e-learning tools and infrastructure needed to create an e-learning program. The software to create the content is provided free of charge, and allows an educator to add videos, pictures, sounds or text and send them to Informa Systems’ dedicated servers with a single click. The software automatically converts all of the media to a streamed format, and the servers will host the streaming media in any of the standard browsers. For more information about the service, go to www.informasystems.com.
