Panasonic Expands Panaboard Whiteboard Line

Panasonic has launched two new versions of its Panaboard interactive whiteboard systems, both supporting fingertip and electronic pen drawing for up to three simultaneous users. The new units debuted at the InfoComm 2010 convention happening this week in Las Vegas.

The new models introduced this week include the Panaboard UB-T880, a standard 4:3 model measuring 77 inches diagonal, and the Panaboard UB-T880W, a widescreen (16:9) interactive whiteboard measuring 83 inches diagonal.

Both models offer a built-in stereo amplifier, recessed speakers, a low-glare screen, and support for up to three students using the boards at the same time. The units allow users to work with Panasonic's four-color electronic marker or electronic pens and support the use of fingers instead of electronic pens or markers. Gesture support allows users to manipulate objects on screen with their fingers.

The Panaboard UB-T880 is available for $2,695. The Panaboard UB-T880W is available for $3,195. Further information is available on Panasonic System Networks Co. of America's site here.
