Bank Offers Scholarship Grants

High school seniors can go online to access a source ofcollege scholarship dollars through the U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program.The program, available only online, will award up to 25 $1,000 scholarships toclass of 2001 high school graduates who plan to attend an accredited two- orfour-year college next fall. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, witha focus on a combination of factors such as academic record, school andcommunity involvement and the student’s stated goals. Students must be highschool seniors and United States citizens or permanent residents. Students whoplan to participate in the Federal Family Education Loan Program in a full-timecourse of study are also eligible to apply. U.S. Bankcorp, Minneapolis, MN, www.usbank.com/studentloans.
