AVerMedia Add 720p HD Output to CP-Series Classroom Document Cameras

Presentation technology provider AVerMedia Information has updated its lineup of classroom document cameras, adding in HD output and up to 80x zoom.

The new models--the AVerVision CP135, the CP155, and the CP355--add 720p HD output (1,280 x 720), a 3.2 megapixel camera head, and up to 80x combined optical and digital zoom.

Other features shared between the new models include:

  • An expanded viewing area;
  • Full-page viewing;
  • Microscope adapter support (adapters optional); and
  • New integration with AVer+, an annotation tool.

In addition to these features, the high-end CP355 includes a wide-angle mode for a larger viewing area (15.75" x 11.8"), 5x optical zoom (80x total zoom), and 24 FPS maximum frame rate. The CP155 and CP135 offer a 16x total zoom.

All of the new models are available now. The AVerVision CP135 sells for $499.99; the CP155 sells for $599.99; and the CP355 sells for $699.99. Further information can be found here.
