Casio, Crestron Partner To Provide AV Management

Casio America is partnering with Crestron Electronics to provide users with help desk management, remote monitoring, and control of networked AV devices.

The new partnership allows Casio to include Crestron's RoomView Connected software in their USB and LAN capable projectors, providing compatibility with Crestron's RoomView Express.

RoomView Express allows AV managers and IT professionals to control up to 25 AV devices with a point-and-click interface from any room. Other features include:

  • Real-time monitoring;
  • Control diagnostics;
  • Automated management and technical support functions;
  • An asset management tool for usage reports and scheduling maintenance; and
  • Built-in help desk messaging and emergency broadcasting.

Users can also upgrade to RoomView Server Edition to control an unlimited number of AV devices.
