Plato eDynamic Learning Launch Secondary Electives Library

Plato Learning, based in Bloomington, MN, is partnering with Calgary-based eDynamic Learning to create expanded options for online courses designed to prepare students for college and the workforce.

The new courses, 24 in all, will be available through the Secondary Electives Library. The semester-long courses are designed for students in grades 9-12 and include a variety of elective options such as psychology, sociology, forensic science, music appreciation, photography, and others.

The new offerings are designed to provide material outside of the traditional core curriculum areas to allow for a broader base of learning.

Classes offered through the Secondary Electives Library will feature interactive activities and videos designed to maintain student interest.

Courses in the Secondary Electives Library are expected to be available beginning in April, according to information released by the companies.

A complete list of the planned course offerings is currently available online at plato.com/high-school-electives.
