SW Targets Kids With Reading Problems

The Macintosh and DOS versions of The Sentence Master include the same revolutionary remedial reading instruction as the award-winning Apple IIe version. The Sentence Master assists children who are at risk of reading failure due to difficulties in phonics, oral language, English as a Second Language (ESL) or impulsive learning styles. The program is divided into four levels of instruction. Each level contains a variety of activities that train important words to immediate recognition, eight sequentially-ordered stories, eight reproducible story booklets and an Instructor's Manual. Colorful graphics, animation, natural-sounding speech and large-sized text are used to present the activities and stories. Students can access the software using a TouchWindow, single switch, keyboard or mouse, and a summary of their performance can be saved or printed at the end of a session. The publisher is offering a 50% discount on either Level 1 or Levels 1-4 until December 31, 1995. A catalog or free CD-ROM demo is available by calling (800) 561-6801.
