Captioning Firm Approved By Nat'l Assoc. of Deaf

The Computer Prompting & Captioning Co. (CPC) has been approved as a caption service provider by the National Association of the Deaf (NAD). Many video producers, TV stations and government agencies rely on NAD's list of 15 approved providers to assure they get high-quality captioning.

To earn NAD approval, CPC captioned various videos, which the association evaluated based on positioning, timing and other criteria. The firm also edited dialogue to meet the reading rate of several age groups.

CPC can caption (closed or open) videos in English, Spanish or French, or subtitle videos in over 20 languages. The firm also sells IBM-compatible software and turnkey systems for captioning, subtitling and teleprompting.
