Learn Your Science in a 3D World

An Odyssey of Discovery: Science, for grades 4 and up, encourages students to learn by doing as they explore and discover the thrill of scientific inquiry. Eight interactive learning environments develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Activities include an aquarium, a virtual microscope, a fossil site and much more. Students gain an enthusiasm for science in this dynamic three-dimensional world.

The Macintosh program is teacher-developed and built on essential NSES standards. Activities are fully narrated and can be used individually, in small groups or with the class as a whole. The software provides a learning environment where students learn to work together, problem- solve, hypothesize, test and retest and learn to think things through on their own.

Other titles in the Odyssey of Discovery series include Math, Geography, Continent Explorer II, Writing for Readers and Skills for Writers. Pierian Springs Software, Portland, OR, (800) 472-8578, www.pierian.com.
