Presentation & Testing Suite Has Online Edge

CourseAdvantage is an integrated and interactive suite of presentation, testing, and assessment tools that gives instructors a powerful, up-to-date learning environment. The Windows program contains two unique tools, each of which can be customized by individual professors to fit their specific needs.

The Lecture/Presentation tool allows for quick assembly of media files into a multimedia presentation. This lets professors assemble, edit, present and publish custom lectures built from an extensible multimedia database.

An online Testing/Assessment tool enables generation, assessment and grade administration of printed or HTML tests. Professors are able to embed hyperlinks from test questions to related online resources, create new or existing questions (multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-blank, checkbox, pulldown, essay), set difficulty ratings and designate questions for student practice.

And, the Testing tool delivers online tests, generates "on-the-fly" tests based on student search requests, creates "smart" re-tests based on student test performance, hyperlinks test questions to online resources for learning-on-demand, and tracks correct and incorrect responses. It also tracks time spent answering each question, scores tests automatically, automates student test reports with embedded hyperlinks for remediation, and sends the test report and profile to the class administrator.
