4GL Acquires Tranquility to Expand Special-Ed Solutions
4GL School Solutions (www.4glschools.com), a provider of comprehensive management solutions for special populations in K-12 education, has acquired Tranquility Solutions Inc. (www.tranquilitysolutions.com), developer and marketer of the Clarity process management tool for special-education practitioners. The acquisition is expected to nearly double 4GL’s market share, while giving the company the opportunity to gain a foothold in key states and market segments where they have not yet established a presence. The deal will also help accelerate 4GL’s recent entry into the under 10,000-student segment. Terms of the transaction will not be disclosed.
