VBrick and Clearvue & SVE Partner to Provide K-12 Digital Video Package

3/8/2007—VBrick Systems has partnered with Clearvue & SVE, a division of Discovery Education, to create a digital video package for K-12 schools. The package will include EtherneTV digital video system with a pre-loaded library of educational programming.

"New learning applications, such as digital video than engage students, have the ability to transform the classroom. We are significantly reducing our administrative overhead by using the packaged digital video system and content offering from VBrick and Clearvue & SVE," said Ed Crane, technology director of Waterford Public Schools, in a prepared statement.

According to VBrick and Clearvue & SVE, schools can choose from eight different packages. "To address diverse customer requirements, the separate K-8 and high school packages span from 100 to more than 850 titles." Educational videos subjects include:

  • Language arts
  • Social studies
  • Math
  • Science
  • Guidance
  • Health
  • Art
  • Music

The digital video system can be expanded to record classroom lectures, deliver Webcasts, streams live content, and manage digital video over Internet Protocol (IP) networks.
