Tech Educator Profile: Jana Craig Hare

For the last 13 years Jana Craig Hare has served as a technology facilitator for the nation's schools. She's been able to expand that role at the ALTEC (Advanced Learning Technologies in Education Consortia) Center for Research and Learning at the University of Kansas, where she serves as associate director, helping the organization live up to its mission of helping K-12 schools successfully integrate technology.

Apple Refreshes Entire Notebook Line

Apple has refreshed its entire notebook lineup--including the MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air--adding in expanded graphics capabilities, greater storage capacities, and, in some cases, faster CPUs. Al of the new models are available now, except for the MacBook Air, which will ship in November.

Adobe Ships Creative Suite 4, Flash Player 10

Adobe has begun shipping Creative Suite 4, with new versions of its development, design, publishing, and video/motion graphics applications, along with new and modified pricing and licensing schemes for both K-12 and post-secondary education. The company also released Flash Player 10 Wednesday.
