Belkin has come out with two tablet stands specifically intended for education use. The new Belkin Tablet Stand and Belkin Tablet Stand with Storage are designed to help tablet users avoid neck discomfort from prolonged use by establishing an optimal viewing angle. The new products are expected to be out this month.

The two devices are constructed of colorful, durable, non-slip material. The stand can be stacked for compact storage; the storage edition includes a compartment where students can place supplies such as ear buds, device chargers, pencils, and markers under a latch lid.

"As technology is increasingly adopted in the classroom, unique challenges can arise along with the benefits," said Matthew Peskay, director of technology, KIPP LA Schools in Los Angeles. "It's absolutely critical that students engage themselves in the learning experience. But when something like a tablet case limits viewability because it can only be held a certain way, or a display screen gets cracked because the tablet can't be stored efficiently, both student and teacher suffer the consequences. Belkin has clearly dedicated the time and resources to examine these challenges and develop practical solutions that optimize the use of technology in our classrooms."
