Destiny 11.5 Brings Improved Search to Library Manager, Titlewave Integration

Follett has released Destiny 11.5, bringing improvements to Library Manager, Textbook Manager, and Asset Manager.

Destiny is a suite of tools for K-12 schools for managing digital and print resources, including library management and automation, textbook management, and general asset management. It includes inventory tracking, budgeting, mobile library access, and e-book search and reading tools, among other features.

Destiny 11.5 adds several enhancements to Library Manager, including new collaboration and curation capabilities for Resource lists. It also adds improvements to the district home page for sharing information and resources; improved search in WebPath Express; a link to Follett's professional learning community, called Follett Community; and the ability to display book covers when checking books in or out.

Improvements to Destiny Asset Manager include the addition of new dashboard reports and a help ticketing system.

Destiny Textbook Manager adds new reporting tools, textbook checkout summaries, and the ability to cancel warehouse orders.

Destiny is in use by some 60,000 schools and 7,200 districts in the United States and Canada, according to Follett. Additional details can be found on Follett's site. A webinar focused on the new version will be held Oct. 24. Registration is open now.
