News-O-Matic Expands Access

News-O-Matic, a service that publishes daily news for kids, has released a new version that is available on any Internet-connected device.

Previously available via mobile devices, the new expanded access to News-O-Matic is designed to "allow all educators to use the powerful resource to inspire their students with differentiated instruction using high-interest informational text," according to a news release.

Features of News-O-Matic include videos, photos, audio support, interactive maps, daily quizzes aligned to state and national standards and the ability to adjust reading levels.

"We are thrilled with this new version of News-O-Matic, as it now allows students to access their favorite daily news on any device," said Lillian Holtzclaw Stern, News-O-Matic founder, in a prepared statement. "Being platform agnostic also facilitates school adoption across the United States and abroad."
