Minecraft: Education Edition Adds Enhancements to Classroom Mode

Microsoft has released an update to Minecraft: Education Edition. The latest back-to-school release (version 1.12) offers several enhancements, including improved multiplayer support, including support for join codes.

It also offers:

  • Immersive Reader, which is designed to help students improve their reading and comprehension skills;

  • Support for single sign-on;

  • The ability to share links to library content;

  • Updated site maps;

  • The ability to export book and quill to PDF; and

  • Various bug fixes to Classroom Mode.
