Micro-Grant Program Offers Up to $5,000 for Classroom Tech

The Educators of American Micro-Grant Program is awarding educators $250 to $5,000 for classroom technology to support student success. The organization reviews micro-grant applications on a quarterly basis (in January, April, July and October).

Awards are given to educators based on how they plan to use the technologies they seek funding for and “what long term strategy will be employed to ultimately increase student achievement and technology integration.” Applicants should provide detailed information about how the funds will be used.

Examples of technologies the program will fund include Chromebooks, other types of laptops, 3D printers, tablets and AV equipment. Applicants can also specify other types of technologies.

Complete details and an online application can be found at educatorsusa.org/our-programs/micro-grants.
