TrueFire Studios Extends Free Music Education Program to K–12 Students Without Access
In
response to the COVID-19 outbreak and the resulting disruption in
millions of K–12 students’ music education, TrueFire Studios is
now offering 90 days free
through its two online platforms: TrueFire and JamPlay. The
K–12 Assistance
Program is open to all schools and education programs disrupted
by the COVID-19 outbreak.
TrueFire
is an online guitar education platform that provides more
than 600 courses and more than 40,000 interactive lessons covering a
wide variety of genres, styles and skill levels. The courses are
designed for self-paced study, and 1-on-1 instruction is also
available. The platform has some 600 educators around the world.
Other features include:
JamPlay
offers
more than 450 courses and 6,400 lessons. JamPlay also offers weekly
live lessons in 1080p, providing tabs and guided homework, instructor
interaction and video call-in capabilities.
Live daily Q&A with instructors are also featured on JamPlay,
with live
help, ope mics and webcam-to-webcam capabilities.
