New Platform Supports Compliance and Monitoring for Special Ed

Red Cedar Solutions Group has launched a new platform called Stepwell, a district-level system that provides insights for special education compliance and monitoring.

Stepwell is an online, collaborative system that is designed to ease tasks associated with compliance monitoring and to allow educators to view reports, tasks, updates, deadlines, and other aspects of compliance monitoring. It also provides:

  • The ability to collaborate across teams within a school district;

  • Student data insights;

  • Embedded best practices;

  • Automated reporting and data collection; and

  • Insight into processes and timelines.

"Stepwell's most significant impact has been the uptick in the quality of monitoring activities, which decreases the need for school staff to shepherd along the process or manually processing data and creating reports," said Andrew Henry, president of Red Cedar, in a prepared statement. "Crucial aspects of monitoring are automated by Stepwell, so staff time can be devoted to supporting the people and programs that produce results."
