Wiley Extends E-Book Site Purchasing Option

Wiley InterScience has extended its ArticleSelect function to include OnlineBooks, a complete collection of essential print works re-purposed for the Web available at www.interscience.wiley.com/onlinebooks. Now, Wiley InterScience's Enhanced Access License customers can purchase OnlineBooks chapters in addition to individual journal articles not covered by their subscription. Researchers can search more than 300 scientific, technical and medical journals in full text contained in Wiley InterScience's online service, as well as its online journals and reference works. Librarians will also benefit by being able to purchase additional content for patrons cost-effectively.

In addition, the company has introduced the Acronym Finder search tool. This tool instantaneously reveals the meaning of any acronym used in Wiley InterScience content, whether it appears in a journal, major reference works or in OnlineBooks.
