Jones Knowledge Releases Updated Open-License Course Management Software

Jones Knowledge Inc. has released the new 2003 version of its free open- license online course management and delivery software, Jones e-education: Software Standard (the "Jones Standard"). Jones also announced that it has signed agreements with hosting and technical support providers Embanet and Link-Systems International to give all Jones Standard users the option of using these fee-based services. All current Jones Standard users, which include more than 400 educational institutions worldwide, and qualified applicants will receive v.2003 via CD-ROM free of charge.

The new release offers all the functionality of Jones Standard v.2002, plus it includes content sharing across multiple course sections, quick customization of the look and feel of the software, easy-to-use student access management tools, and gradebook export tools.
