MightyBrain.com Increases, Improves Communication Between School and Home

1ton Technologies Inc.'s MightyBrain.com is a Web-based application created to increase and improve communication between students in grades 6-12, parents and teachers. Using the program, students and parents can view grades, homework assignments, course descriptions, a school's calendar of events, as well as a student calendar and planner. The site also has an in-house e-mail system that allows teachers and families to communicate with each other from any location with Internet access. Parents can send messages to teachers using this link, and teachers can respond at their convenience. For protection, parent-teacher e-mail messages cannot be deleted.

The only requirements for schools to take advantage of the program are access to the Internet, an electronic grading package and an upload of their student databases to MightyBrain.com. Grades, homework assignments and events can be updated instantly, and are available daily for both students and their parents to access. The information is then taken from an electronic grading package and exported to the MightyBrain.com site. This allows it to function as a real-time report card that is easy to use, as well as opens the channels of communication between teachers and families. In addition, MightyBrain.com is a secure password-protected Web site, so grades or personal information cannot be compromised and privacy is ensured. For more information on the program, visit www.mightybrain.com or call (877) 861-6079.
