Adobe Creates New Licensing Program

Students in technology-based majors often have to run around trying to track down versions of software for their classes only to find out that they are either: (a) too expensive or (b) getting a sample version lacking the complete tools necessary to complete their homework.

Adobe has created an answer to this problem by setting up a new licensing program that gives students, faculty and staff an opportunity to utilize their products at a significantly lower price. The Adobe Education Student Licensing Option enables institutions to purchase volume licenses of certain Adobe desktop software products for their students. The program also allows students to own the license, which in turn gives them the opportunity to continue using Adobe’s products and services after they graduate.

In addition, there is a high-volume discount program that will provide a sliding scale of discounts based on how much the institution purchases and another program that will give special rewards for schools that use the latest version of Acrobat across their campus.
