FETC Brief: Pearson Expands Online Math Remediation

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

At the FETC show in Orlando, FL Tuesday, Pearson announced that it's expanded its online math remediation tool, Pearson Perspective, to include video tutorials from Video Math Tutor.

Pearson Perspective is designed to provide remediation tailored for individual students. It offers overviews on assessments, Web reports and resources aligned to state standards, and class reports. It also includes Learning Locator, which provides additional resources mapped to state assessments.

Through it's agreement with Video Math Tutor, Pearson will provide math tutorials through its Learning Resource Library functionality within Perspective. The videos, hosted by Luis Anthony Ast, are aligned to state standards and are Web-optimized. The new functionality is available now at no additional charge to Perspective users and can be accessed through the Perspective portal.

Pearson is exhibiting at the FETC show this week in Orlando, FL at booth 802. More information can be found at the links below.
