AVerMedia Ships VP-1 Document Camera

AVerMedia Technologies has launched its new AVerVision VP-1 Portable Visual Presenter, a portable (2.7-pound) mechanical arm document camera and 3D object presentation system for classrooms.

The new system includes a 2 megapixel camera and supports output up to 1,280 x 960. Features include:

  • An 8x digital zoom;
  • 15 FPS max rate;
  • Autofocus and automatic white balance;
  • A shooting area of 13.4" x 10";
  • Image freeze and image mirror; and
  • VGA input and output with composite video output.

The AVerVision VP-1 is available now for $449.99 with a three-year warranty on the main unit and one-year warranty on accessories. Further information can be found here.
