Mimio Rolls Out Interactive Displays, Upgrades MimioStudio and MimioMobile

Mimio is unveiling a new line of interactive classroom displays and also releasing new versions if its flagship education software tools, MimioStudio and MimioMobile.

The new MimioDisplay LED touch displays combine the features of an interactive whiteboard with a high-resolution display and speakers. They will be available in four sizes, from 55 inches to 84 inches, and will include two pens. They're available for order now and are expected to ship in July.

Mimio is also releasing new versions of MimioStudio (version 12) and MimioMobile (version 3).

MimioStudio is a collaboration suite for education that includes all of the MimioClassroom software tools for working with interactive whiteboards in the classroom, along with a gradebook, Common Core-oriented test and quiz tools and activity creation software.

The latest release adds support for an unlimited number of mobile devices (with a single annual MimioMobile license per classroom), including Android and iOS devices, as well as the MimioPad wireless pen tablet.

The new software is expected to be available for download this fall. Upgrades will be free for current users.
