EDUonGo Debuts Classroom Coding Platform

EDUonGo has launched a learning platform, Ucodemy, designed to provide coding curricula, collaborative teaching tools and professional software coaching.

Ucodemy allows teachers to download curriculum resources that can be modified using the platform's teaching tools. "As most teachers do not have a background in computer science, Ucodemy provides outside, around-the-clock coaching support," according to a news release. "Teachers can also use Ucodemy to gain knowledge in the field of computer science."

A basic package, available for a limited time, is free and provides access to all free courses and one free hour of Web coaching, with additional coaching available at $80 per hour. Plus and premium packages are available for $9.99 per month and $4 per student each month, respectively. The premium package is available for a one-month free trial.

"When it comes to finding the best fit for your school, the sheer number of coding resources is overwhelming," said Jason Rukman, principal at Ucodemy, in a prepared statement. "At Ucodemy, we normalize these resources for your class by bringing the best of them into a teacher recognized curriculum format. You don't have to assemble this curriculum yourself — we provide it all in one place."
