$50,000 2016 McGraw Jr. Prize in Education Opens to the Public

Arizona State University has partnered with McGraw-Hill Education for the 2016 Harold W. McGraw Jr. Prize in Education, an award meant to honor education innovators, those "outstanding individuals who have dedicated themselves to improving education through new approaches and whose accomplishments are making a difference today."

The 2016 award is open to the public and will honor three individuals involved in education. Past recipients have been involved in NGOs, corporations and associations and have included Sal Khan of Khan Academy, Wendy Kopp of Teach for America and Andreas Schleicher of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The award ceremony will be held at the ASU+GSV Innovation Summit in San Diego April 19, 2016.

Nominations are open for innovators in K-12, higher education and international education through Nov. 15 at McGrawPrize.com.
