Video Provider Kaltura Partners With Sharp on Interactive Display Boards

Educators can now display video when using Sharp's Aquos Board interactive display boards. Video technology provider Kaltura has partnered with Sharp Imaging and Information to supply its video platform to the Sharp line of display boards.

Display board users can now access features like screen recording so that video can be recorded, shared and replayed on any device. This is expected to enhance the Aquos Board's responsive touch functionality that allows several people to write on the same touch screen at the same time.

"Sharp and Kaltura have bridged the gap between classroom and personalized learning," said Gary Bailer, director of product management for Sharp. "The new interactive display system brings cutting-edge, multi-touch technology into the classroom, while Kaltura's video platform helps continue student learning well beyond the classroom."

Zohar Babin, a managing director with Kaltura said, "Collaborative learning tools are crucial to increasing student engagement and retention, and Kaltura is committed to helping our clients stay at the forefront of education."
