Osmo Launching $2,000 STEAM Education Mini-Grants

Beginning July 1, public schools will be eligible to apply for one of 20 mini-grants designed to promote STEAM education.

Osmo for Schools and Osmo Cares, the philanthropic arm of Osmo, will offer $2,000 in Osmo for Schools products, which include a range of STEAM education kits for classrooms, to 20 schools. The kits are designed for early learning and elementary classrooms and support iPad and/or Fire tablets. (The tablets are not included as part of the grant.)

“Osmo for Schools is so thrilled to offer 20 mini-grants for the first time ever,” says Jan Richards, head of education sales and marketing at Osmo for Schools, the division of Tangible Play that promotes in-classroom usage of Osmo’s devices. “We know there are many schools across the country which lack needed funding to purchase educational technology, so we decided to give 20 schools a gift. Their students and teachers will have something to look forward to when they return to in-person learning this fall.”

The application period will run July 1–17. Winners will be announced in August. Further details can be found at schools.playosmo.com/grants.
