LEGO Ed, NASA Collaborate on Free Digital STEAM Learning Series
LEGO Education and NASA have come together to create “Build to
Launch: A STEAM Exploration Series,” a new interactive learning
series scheduled to launch in September.
According to LEGO Education, the series “is designed to spark
student curiosity and increase engagement in STEAM through the
upcoming Artemis I mission. The 10-week series includes interactive
episodes and open-ended prompts grouped into three learning themes
aligned with the mission: Getting to Space, Testing and Transport and
Working in Space.”
The lessons combine digital lessons with interactivity and hands-on
components. For interactivity, students can submit questions answered
by NASA and animated LEGO figures. For hands-on learning: “Open-ended
prompts encourage student creativity and engagement through hands-on
learning, while offering flexibility for teachers,” according to
LEGO Education.
A Teacher Resource Guide will also be available.
Further
details can be found on the LEGO Education site.
