Professional Learning Grants
$1.5 Million Fund Will Support Video Coaching and Observation
Edthena has
created a $1.5
million fund to support districts' efforts to implement video
coaching and video observation as part of their professional learning
initiatives.
The Innovation
Fund, a part of Edthena's 10-year anniversary celebration, is a
matching grant that will offer a range of funding, based on district
size, to help implement the Edthena platform. Grants are awarded for
up to three years.
According to Edthena: "Districts can use the award-winning
Edthena video observation platform in a number of ways to support
high-impact teaching and help streamline feedback to teachers. The
platform enables feedback to teachers using video observations and
increased teacher-to-teacher collaboration. There is also the ability
to scale best practices across the district with secure video
libraries, to engage educators in flexible micro-credential-style
learning, and more."
Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis (monthly). The first
round of applications will be reviewed September 30.
