$1.5 Million Fund Will Support Video Coaching and Observation

Edthena has created a $1.5 million fund to support districts' efforts to implement video coaching and video observation as part of their professional learning initiatives.

The Innovation Fund, a part of Edthena's 10-year anniversary celebration, is a matching grant that will offer a range of funding, based on district size, to help implement the Edthena platform. Grants are awarded for up to three years.

According to Edthena: "Districts can use the award-winning Edthena video observation platform in a number of ways to support high-impact teaching and help streamline feedback to teachers. The platform enables feedback to teachers using video observations and increased teacher-to-teacher collaboration. There is also the ability to scale best practices across the district with secure video libraries, to engage educators in flexible micro-credential-style learning, and more."

Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis (monthly). The first round of applications will be reviewed September 30.

Further information about Edthena can be found at edthena.com. Districts interested in applying for the funds should contact [email protected]. Further information about the grant can be found here.
