PowerSchool Launches Centralized Human Resources System

Ed tech developer PowerSchool has unveiled its new Unified Talent Human Resources Management System, a tool designed to centralize K–12 HR management and provide tracking and direct access to HR data and functions.

The new tool was formally announced at the American Association of School Personnel Administrators Annual Conference Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Features include:

  • Tools for tracking recruiting, hiring and onboarding from a single screen;

  • Self-service features for employees to access and manage benefits and payroll options;

  • Tools for managing leave and substitutes;

  • Observation and walkthrough tracking;

  • Tracking rosters and registrations; and

  • A Manager's Portal, providing a "central view of K-12 HR information, aggregating all your important metrics. Click on any widget to dig directly into details and workflows. Users can view everything they’re authorized to access with a click or two."

“Educators tell us they are overwhelmed by accessing multiple systems and constantly searching for the right data, making it difficult to track progress and quickly assess next steps,” said PowerSchool Chief Product Officer Marcy Daniel, in a prepared statement. “With PowerSchool Human Resources Management System, HR managers can save valuable time and energy so they can focus on what really matters — supporting and retaining teachers and improving student outcomes.”

The PowerSchool Unified Talent Human Resources Management System is expected to be available by the end of the year. A demo is available now.

Further details can be found on PowerSchool's site.
