Presence Launches Interactive Therapy Platform Kanga

Presence has introduced Kanga, a new interactive therapy platform designed for clinicians who serve children in schools and other settings. The company also rolled out a free version of the new platform that clinicians can sign up for immediately.

According to Presence, Kanga "is an interactive therapy platform designed to engage students and empower clinicians with access to a multitude of resources and caseload management tools all in one place." It is essentially an evolution of Presence's Therapy Essentials platform, with substantial new features, as well as all of the capabilities of Therapy Essentials as well.

Some of the new capabilities include:

  • Bulk management of students;

  • Caseload detail view;

  • New scheduling features;

  • Streamlined interface;

  • Goal management;

  • Improved reporting features;

  • Session notes;

  • Student metrics;

  • Live in-room chat support for clinicians;

  • On-demand training; and

  • "Live office hours from Presence clinical experts."

The free version is designed to help clinicians explore the platform and includes features like:

  • Caseload management tools;

  • A library of resources;

  • Session note tracking;

  • Session documentation; and

  • Student profiles.

The free version allows for up to eight 30-minute teletherapy sessions per month.
