ViewSonic Completes Android ViewBoard Line with New IFP52-2 Series for Education

ViewSonic has announced a new lineup of ViewBoards for education with its IFP52-2 series of Android-driven devices. The new boards run on the Android operating system and can access the Google Play Store.

The new boards feature an “all-in-one” system, ViewSonic said. They come in 65-, 75-, and 86- inch sizes. The slot-in PC module allows upgrade of existing displays without having to replace the entire board. The board also has an updated 4K UHD interactive display and a front-facing multimedia soundbar. The series interface displays prominently on the Google search bar. Information can be searched from the home screen via keyboard or voice, the company said.

Teachers can access different learning resources through the myViewBoard software, which allows interactive learning experiences such as digital whiteboarding and screen-casting.

Cybersecurity features include Google security patches and automatic firmware and app updates.
