Fast-Charging Station for Schools Supports up to 20 Devices

PowerGistics, which manufactures device charging stations for schools, has announced its new Flex20 Bolt, a fast USB-C to USB-C charging station that can charge 20 Chromebooks, laptops, tablet devices, and more at once.

Like the Flex20 USB, the Flex20 Bolt vertical tower design fits into an 11.25-inch footprint, the company said, saving classroom space, with a side PDU (power distribution unit). Each student’s device is labeled with their name, and each device sits on its own shelf. The Flex20 can be mounted to a wall or placed on a roller. The PDU is enclosed in a side-locking door, which can also be removed. The PDU and charging cords can be accessed while the unit is mounted to a wall, as well.

The Flex20 Bolt comes with 20 USB-C to USB-C cables so students can take power bricks home and still be able to wire up at school, the company said.

Fast charging works best for devices with a maximum power supply of 65W or less, and the charging station is recommended for a dedicated circuit.

PowerGistics offers a limited lifetime warranty on its products.
