West Ada School District Selects Skyward ERP

West Ada School District (WASD) in Meridian, ID, has selected school administration software provider Skyward's Qmlativ School Business Suite as its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.

As the largest school district in Idaho, with 58 schools, 5,000 employees, and over 40,000 students, WASD was looking to streamline its business and human resources management by moving to automate administrative processes and improve reporting capabilities, according to a news announcement.

Skyward's Qmlativ "intuitive interface," which allows for flexibility, will fit the district's objectives, the company noted.

"Qmlativ presents a myriad of options designed around increasing operational efficiency, and our team eagerly anticipates leveraging its capabilities," said Jonathan Gillen, chief financial officer for the district. "Through the use of Qmlativ and its ERP system we will enhance district operations in a way that will allow us to better serve the students and staff of West Ada."

The Qmlativ School Business Suite offers several features:

  • Human resources, including applicant tracking, job openings, position requests, and employee and substitute teacher management;
  • Financial management, including budgeting, AR/AP, general ledger, and purchasing;
  • Payroll and time tracking, including electronic timekeeping, wage plans, and payroll scenarios;
  • Employee portal, including employee forms, mobile access, and expense reimbursement; and
  • Asset management, including supplies inventory, storage, and warehouse updates.

The implementation is expected to go fully live by July 25, 2024.
