CrossTec Corp. has announced the release of NetOp School v2.0, a management tool that puts teachers center stage in networked classrooms or Internet-based virtual classrooms. This classroom management software developed by Danware Data A/S facilitates seamless transitions, from teaching before groups to interactive one-on-one instruction. With v2.0, students can log onto a virtual classroom via an Intranet or Internet server from anywhere. Other new features include an audio chat, enhanced mapping and viewing of classroom layouts, teacher-friendly automation for distributing and collecting assignments and tests, and simultaneous thumbnail views of all student screens.
