The Elementary Zone by Tool Factory Inc. (www.toolfactory.com) is an Internet subscription service that provides nearly 100 educational activities and games that help children develop skills in literacy, science and math. The site is loaded with colorful graphics and animations, and each activity has been carefully designed so students can navigate the site by themselves. There are two zones - one for home use and one for school use - each designed for children ages 4 to 11. In addition, teachers can configure activities by age and subject, as well as assign individual activities.
